Roha Expands European Footprint
07 Sep 2016 --- Colors manufacturer and marketer Roha continues to bolster its European reach with the opening of operations in Germany. The company has made a strategic move to establish itself as a European leader and wants to expand the reach of its products and services across important markets including Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany as well as Continental Europe.
“We are thrilled to open an office in Germany as it will help us realize our long term vision of establishing ourselves as the market leader in Europe in our product segment. It will also bring a lot of local expertise, experience and innovation in these particular demographics and give us a chance to engage with our customers and review and revamp our products accordingly, hence providing customized, need-based solutions,” says chief operating officer for Europe, Lorenzo Ceccarelli.
“It is our declared vision and policy to grow closer to our customers, to infuse a personal touch and to create a climate of change. This development is a step in that direction,” adds Mahesh Tibrewala, of Roha DyeChem.
“Also, our vision is to strengthen and consolidate our leadership position in this extremely important market and to expand the reach of our products and services in the region. To that end, it was thought that it will be imperative for us to have a strong customer service foothold in the region”.
At the end of last month, communications manager, Rajani Singh, spoke with FoodIngredientsFirst at Fi India in New Delhi, where she detailed Roha’s growing presence in the natural color space as well as some of the biggest opportunities in worldwide markets.
“We are realizing the demand across the globe for natural colors. We have just started a new global center of expertise, a new R&D center, in the US to cater to the needs of the rising market for natural colors, so we are highly into innovation as well,” she says.
“India is catching up and Europe is already a mature market and the US is 30 percent into naturals and 70 percent into synthetic, and in Asia and the Middle East, the demand is ever-growing.”
