Barry Callebaut launches sensory language: In January, Barry Callebaut introduced a sensory language that aims to help chocolate professionals and consumers to understand and express the richness of chocolate. The chocolate sensory language finds its foundation in the book "Hidden Persuaders in Cocoa and Chocolate. A Flavor Lexicon for Cocoa and Chocolate Sensory Professionals." Nestlé's KitKat became the world’s first brand to adopt Barry Callebaut Ruby chocolate innovation and made its debut in Japan and Korea in January.
