Cream of the crop: Anchor Food Professionals eyes potential for world’s best chefs

10 Jul 2018 --- Fonterra’s foodservice business Anchor Food Professionals is looking to crown the finest chefs in the world, as it co-hosts two prestigious competitions at the upcoming Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (11 – 14 July). Anchor Food Professionals is the event’s dairy partner for the Global Pastry Chefs Challenge and Global Young Chefs Challenge, supplying high-quality dairy ingredients for each competition. The ten finalists from around the world will compete against each other to prepare innovative culinary dishes and pastries while showcasing their knowledge, technique and versatility.

Fonterra’s Global Foodservice Director Stanley Goh says: “We are honored to be involved in both competitions and help bring together some of the most talented chefs in the world.”

Anchor Food Professionals will also showcase their range of dairy products, including Anchor Food Professionals Whipping Cream, Anchor Food Professionals Butter, Anchor Full Cream Milk and Anchor Food Professionals Cream Cheese to name a few, over the three days. There will also be a demonstration by a mixologist, creating the latest beverage sensations featuring Anchor Food Professionals products.

The Anchor Food Professionals exhibit is at Hall 2, at the Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018, which is being held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 11 – 14 July.
