30 Sep 2016 --- Since August 2016, SternMaid America has been certified for contract manufacturing of foods and food supplements in organic quality. The seal of approval from Quality Assurance International guarantees adherence to the NOP standards for the production of organic foods. Besides processing, blending and filling organic products in powder form, the company can procure raw materials from controlled organic farming at the customer’s request.

The demand for products with the seal of approval for organic quality has increased enormously worldwide in recent years. With the “organic” seal, SternMaid America will be able to help enterprises serve this booming market. Customers can have organic products blended and packaged by SternMaid America without being certified themselves.

The contract manufacturer complies with the highest standards of food safety and ensures that it is always state-of-the-art in respect of quality control. Jan Thoele, Executive Vice President of SternMaid America: “Thanks to this certification, we can now present ourselves to a wider target group. The seal of approval stands for safety and transparency – for our customers as well as consumers. It creates confidence in us and our quality system.”

In addition, SternMaid America can manufacture kosher, halal, non-GMO, gluten-free and/or vegan foods on a “product-by-product” basis. Moreover, an audit for cGMP certification of its food supplement production is scheduled for the end of September.
