    15 May 2018 The EU funded Field Food project into pulsed electric fields is just coming to a close. “PEF allows for a mild treatment of food,” says Marcos Pereira of EnergyPulse Systems, which is involved in the project. “This means less heat, more efficiency and less water usage. It goes with the trend asking for more quality in the product with energy efficiency.”
