Azelis expands market presence in Indonesia
04 Sep 2018 --- Azelis expanded into Indonesia with the opening of an office in Jakarta in 2017. Antonius Utomo Prihantono, Managing Director Azelis Indonesia, has already built teams of experts with diverse backgrounds and excellent knowledge of the local market. Since Azelis entered the Asia Pacific market six years ago, the company has established a presence in 11 countries, opened 21 offices and 23 application laboratories – including a Personal Care and Food lab in Indonesia.
Azelis will exhibit at Fi Asia Jakarta, Indonesia, next month (October 3-5), the region’s most prominent food and beverage event, for the first time. Held annually, the Fi Asia alternates between Indonesia and Thailand.
Laurent Nataf, Azelis CEO and President Asia Pacific, comments: “Our rapid growth in Asia Pacific is a testament to our Principals’ belief in our technical ability to service even the largest customers. We can offer practical support for new development applications and often work in a 3-way partnership with customers and key suppliers. Fi Asia is the perfect platform for us to reinforce our presence in South East Asia, which offers immense growth opportunities for Azelis and our partners.”
In April this year, Azelis entered into a distribution partnership with CP Kelco to offer their carrageenan, pectin, gellan gum and xanthan gum products for the food segment in Indonesia. In May, Azelis bolstered its position in the Nordic market by snapping up Ingredi. You can read more on this here.
Azelis will showcase its range of Scansmoke smoke flavors. Visitors to the stand will be able to sample smoked salmon, as well as sausages and BBQ sauce made with Scansmoke and starches from Ingredion, according to the company.
