Koko Kanu Unveils New Look
The new tapered bottles sport clean sharp lines, and the use of silver, browns and blacks gives an elegant and sophisticated feel.
27/02/08 Koko Kanu can lay claim to being the only coconut rum that is true 'rum strength' at 37.5% ABV, giving it a unique premium positioning within the flavoured rum category.
The pack has been designed to reflect this quality whilst at the same time pay tribute to the brand's strong Jamaican heritage.
The beautifully illustrated label incorporates two of Jamaica's national symbols. Firstly the national bird of Jamaica, the 'Doctor Bird' a swallow-tailed humming bird, and secondly, the island's national flower, the Lignum Vitae, which weaves around the label.

"An important part of the re-packaging was to celebrate the brand's strong Jamaica heritage whilst ensuring that its premium credentials were clearly communicated – something that this fabulous bottle really achieves," commented J Wray & Nephew marketing manager, Mariam Ridley.
Koko Kanu is available in the off-trade through Sainsbury rrp £14.99.
